The city of Lihr was founded (or re-founded some would say) by the survivors of a refugee fleet from the war beaten city of Silverlode. Its inhabitants, unsure of where they are or how long they will be here, have moulded themselves a home in the tree city once inhabited by elves whose deity Lihr protected the city.
LIHR will be running 6 tables at Xcaliber 2, timing to be confirmed.
LIHR is a role-playing campaign based on the D&D 3rd edition rules. It is set in the Sword & Sorecry's Scarred Lands® and thus has its own Dwarves, Elves, Humans, etc which reflect life in that region.
If you want to play, you'll need to create a character in advance. You can either do that from the LIHR documentation, or come along to the convention and the LIHR team will help you with character creation.
As LIHR is an ongoing campaign, once your character is created, you can play him (or her) from adventure to adventure. You get paperwork from each adventure stating what your character has gathered from that adventure and then you present your character and the paperwork at the next adventure and off you go...
If you get a chance, I highly recommend reading some of the background, and the mission reports so you understand more of the world and the atmosphere of the game.
The official LIHR web site is www.lihr.org and you can find the backgrounds and the character generation information there. The mission reports are in the community section. This also covers a noticeboard, rules questions and lots more. |
